Job Overview

Job title – Combat Control Instructor

1. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

Knowledge of airfield management; air traffic control supervision; assault zone assessment, operations and procedures; tactical air control systems; air drop and air land techniques; combat control team deployment/employment procedures and techniques; air and ground safety; and ground-to-air and ground-to-ground communications is mandatory.  Knowledge of navigational aids; meteorological aids; surveying equipment; and demolitions is required.  Must possess knowledge of training techniques; instructional methodology; learning processes; training curriculum; and training evaluations.  Graduate of USAF Combat Control Operators Course, Air Traffic Control School; USA Basic Airborne Course, Military Freefall Course, Combat Divers Course, Basic/Freefall Jumpmaster Courses, Divemaster Course and Rappel Master Course are mandatory.  Graduate of an accredited instructor course is mandatory.  Additional knowledge in field radio maintenance is preferred.

2. EXPERIENCE

Shall have had ten (10) years experience as a Combat Control Team member, with not less than three (3) years experience as a team leader and three (3) years experience as a CCT instructor.  Shall have had practical experience within the past three (3) years.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reports to the Aerial Port Tactical Delivery Officer as a member of his staff.                                     Functions as the Combat Control Team Instructor.
  2. Determines Combat Control Team training requirements.  Develops programs of instruction, lesson plans, and training materials.  Conducts Assault Zone Officer training courses, OJT and qualification training.  Maintains the CCT training records; completes and submits all training-related forms and documents; and evaluates CCT delivery training.
  3. Performs static line jumps, military freefall jumps, military dives and demolition as required for CCT training exercises.
  4. Performs other CCT related duties as required.

  • Peoples lie American/European, where visa is not needed, applicant need to follow the rest of formalities demanded by the employer such as police report or any documents requirements.
