Job Overview

Job title – IM Supervisor

Knowledge/Education

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, as applied to aircraft, coupled with an understanding of technical publications is mandatory.  Must have extensive knowledge of C-130 systems and maintenance procedures relating to Intermediate Maintenance functions.  Graduate of a basic aircraft maintenance course is mandatory.  Completion of an advanced aircraft maintenance course is desirable.  Extensive knowledge of general maintenance and supply procedures is mandatory.  Must be capable of supervising the full spectrum of C-130 Intermediate Maintenance systems and propulsion operations.

Experience

Eight (8) years in the aircraft maintenance field with four (4) years at the supervisory level is required.  Four (4) years in support of the C-130 aircraft is mandatory.  Experience in directing functions such as inspection and repair of aircraft is mandatory.  Experience in the maintenance of aircraft electrical and hydraulic systems is desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Reports operationally and administratively to the Intermediate Maintenance Manager.
  2. Supervises maintenance activities engaged in maintenance planning, inspection, repair, and servicing of aircraft and associated equipment.
  3. Plans and organizes maintenance activities in support of Intermediate Maintenance systems and propulsion operations.
  4. Directs repair of aircraft, associated systems and installed equipment. Ensures conformance with prescribed procedures and standards.  Determines type and extent of repairs required to return aircraft and equipment to service.
  5. Establishes and conducts On-The-Job Training for assigned customer personnel. Reviews training status to determine qualification levels.  Performs required indoctrination relating to training requirements.
  6. Resolves technical problems encountered by subordinates and interprets technical publications applicable to inspection, maintenance, repair, service and modification of aircraft and related equipment.
  7. Serves as Intermediate Maintenance Manager during manager’s absence.

  • Peoples lie American/European, where visa is not needed, applicant need to follow the rest of formalities demanded by the employer such as police report or any documents requirements.
