Job Overview

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

Thorough knowledge of Maintenance Control operations is mandatory.  Completion of  a basic course in general aircraft maintenance or maintenance scheduling is mandatory.  Completion of a secondary education is desirable.  Strong communicative skills, both oral and written, are mandatory.  Must be knowledgeable of the maintenance management system; AFM 66-1, 00-20 series technical orders, AFR 50-23, AFM 67-1 or CLIENTS equivalents.  Knowledge of basic computer systems operation is highly desirable.  Must be strong in customer relations and knowledgeable of customer cultural customs.

EXPERIENCE

Ten years experience in aircraft maintenance, of which at least five have been on C-130 aircraft, is mandatory.  A minimum of two years experience in Maintenance Control is mandatory.  Two years experience operating aircraft maintenance computer systems is highly desirable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises work performance in the following Maintenance Control areas:

Job Control, Plans and Scheduling, Aircraft Records and Material Control

Performs the following supervisory tasks:

  1. Conducts planning meetings; prepares briefings, studies and reports.
  2. Supervises development and implementation of maintenance plans and ensures requirements are fulfilled.
  3. Conducts routine and special briefings on Maintenance Control – related issues.
  4. Monitors Maintenance Control training program and ensures training requirements are accomplished.
  5. Provides technical assistance to Maintenance activities as required.
  6. Directs Maintenance activities within the scope of applicable CLIENTS directives.
  7. Directs and assists subordinates as required to achieve mission objectives.
  8. Provides direction and assistance to employees concerning company policy, Saudi Arabian laws and customs.
  9. Serves as Maintenance Control Manager during his absence.
  10. Performs other related duties as directed.

  • Peoples lie American/European, where visa is not needed, applicant need to follow the rest of formalities demanded by the employer such as police report or any documents requirements.
