We are recruiting a Cougar Armament Technician with a minimum of 10 years of specialization in armament systems for Cougar aircraft. Based in Saudi Arabia.

Position Details

Positions available: 1
Nationality: Western / Foreign / South African / Brazilian / British
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a military institute or equivalent
Certificate specializing in armament technician for aircraft (Cougar)
Knowledge of mechanical engineering, fluids, electricity, and hydraulic systems related to aircraft
Knowledge of aircraft internal components and ability to identify their functions and connections
Ability to operate, load, and unload weapons, with strict adherence to safety procedures
Bachelor's degree or equivalent military qualification
Minimum Grade 12 education
English language proficiency: 65% or higher in reading, writing, expression, and grammar

Experience & Skills

At least 10 years specializing in armament systems for Cougar aircraft
Must have worked in the same specialization during the last 3 years
Ability to identify maintenance required for specific parts of the armament system
Ability to interpret technical drawings related to armament-system modifications
Ability to determine required maintenance to repair defective aircraft components
Completion of advanced courses in the relevant specialization

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide technical advice for repairing and maintaining aircraft armament systems
Resolve maintenance and operational problems related to the armament system and components
Determine correct procedures to repair armament equipment
Diagnose recurring faults, take corrective action, and prepare materials reports
Determine whether aircraft components need dismantling, repair, or replacement
Repair faults in armament systems: aircraft guns, launchers, rocket carriers, and control equipment
Inspect aircraft and determine the type of inspection required
Prepare required materials reports
Carry out periodic individual maintenance inspections
Manage and follow up on the employment/work program
Train personnel on the use of inspection manuals and publications

Salary & Processing

The salary package is attractive and will be determined by the employer based on your qualifications and years of experience. It will be communicated to you in your job offer.

Medical examination for the visa process
Police clearance certificate for the visa process
Submission of passport to the Saudi Embassy for visa endorsement
