We are hiring a qualified Aircraft Instruments and Avionics Maintenance Technician for Rotary-Wing Aircraft Systems (Cougar) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating aircraft instruments and avionics systems installed on Cougar helicopters. The role also involves providing technical support and training to aircraft maintenance personnel.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Cougar helicopter maintenance.
• Aircraft electronics certificates related to Cougar helicopters.
• Diploma from a military or civilian aviation institute or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of formal education.
• Minimum 85% English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and grammar.
• Knowledge of aircraft communication, navigation, and electronic systems.
• Experience working in an aircraft maintenance organization.
• Experience maintaining and repairing military or commercial aircraft electronic systems.
• Completion of specialized aircraft electronics training courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Cougar helicopter avionics systems.
• Install, assemble, calibrate, and adjust aircraft electronic components.
• Train maintenance personnel in aircraft electronic systems and maintenance procedures.
• Provide training on maintenance tools, equipment, and technical manuals.
• Ensure proper maintenance documentation and defect reporting.
• Evaluate maintenance personnel's technical skills and performance.
• Maintain training records and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety and FOD prevention procedures.
• Operate electronic test benches and perform necessary repairs.
