Quality Management System (QMS) Manager – Military Maintenance
We are looking for a Quality Management System (QMS) Manager – Military Maintenance to add expertise to our team.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, developing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System,
compliant with ISO 9001 and military requirements, to support maintenance operations and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the QMS (processes, procedures, indicators, documentation).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AQAP 2110, and Canadian Defense requirements.
- Train and support maintenance teams on quality requirements.
- Prepare and lead internal and external audits (clients, authorities, certifications).
- Implement quality monitoring tools (KPIs, dashboards, corrective action plans).
- Manage non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure documentation quality and traceability of maintenance operations.
- Lead quality committees and participate in management reviews.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in quality within an industrial environment, ideally defense or aerospace.
- Mastery of ISO 9001:2015 standards; knowledge of military standards (AQAP 2110, etc.) is an asset.
- Knowledge in maintenance of complex equipment (armored vehicles, heavy vehicles, aviation, railway).
- Excellent organizational and pedagogical skills.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret level is a major asset).
- Bilingualism (French – English) in oral and written communication is a major asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Military or in a defense company.
