Electrical Repair Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Technician. The Electrical Final Repairer plays a key role in the plant’s production team, validating the vehicle’s various electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Validate the vehicle’s electrical and electronic systems
  • Start up the various systems during vehicle assembly
  • Diagnose and solve problems
  • Replace connectors
  • Replace control modules
  • All related tasks

Skills and Qualifications

  • DEC in electrical engineering or ;
  • DEP in automobile or heavy vehicle mechanics obtained after 1997, or
  • DEP in electromechanics for automated systems
  • Good knowledge of electricity and electronics
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Autonomy, analytical skills and good judgment
  • Ability to read and interpret an electrical or mechanical diagram
  • Pass applicable tests
  • Oral and written bilingualism (French – English) is important for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Electrical Technician.
