Electrical Assembler
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Montreal. As an integral member of our production department, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems that meet the high standards of the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical systems, harnesses, and components according to engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct functional testing on electrical systems to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within electrical assemblies using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of assembly processes and test results.
- Adhere to strict industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols throughout the assembly process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma in electrical assembly or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, preferably in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, intricate components.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical assembly and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 or IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset (spoken and written).
