Engineering Consultant

Department: Engineering | Section: Engineering Production / CRC Support

Job Purpose

Organize, coordinate, and control department activities to ensure maximum support for assigned programs with the highest quality standards, cost efficiency, and safety compliance.

Direct all activities related to engine part repairs and troubleshooting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct, approve, and develop engineering technical reports (DRs, E.O., technical drawings).
  • Resolve production and engine testing issues through coordination and participation.
  • Develop new programs for engine overhaul, upgrades, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Investigate failed parts and incidents and provide technical reports.
  • Ensure optimal use of personnel and equipment while maintaining safety and quality.
  • Evaluate manufacturer deviations (CTO, SBs, upgrades) and recommend implementation.
  • Improve departmental operations based on company standards.
  • Support annual targets and manage team performance efficiently.
  • Assist in budgeting by identifying departmental requirements.
  • Prepare reports, attend meetings, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Plan workload to meet production requirements.
  • Stay updated with latest engine technologies and industry trends.
  • Propose training programs for staff development.
  • Identify personnel and material requirements.
  • Support technical aspects of commercial contracts and coordinate with OEMs.
  • Ensure all assigned activities are completed efficiently.

Requirements

  • Aeronautical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of engines, systems, and maintenance practices.
  • Understanding of engineering functions and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Team management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Project management capability with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • CAD experience is a plus.
