Chemical Cleaning & Lab (CLN) Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Chemical Cleaning & Lab Specialist reports directly to Chemical Cleaning & Lab Supervisor and is responsible to perform chemical & mechanical cleaning processes as required by the applicable manual and / or MEPC policies and procedures. To ensure that the product is ready for inspection with no turn back in work process flow.  He also supports in giving training to new CLN specialist personnel as required and ensures Quality Maintenance, product safety, and security throughout the cleaning processes to ensure the highest quality product to the customer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-today tasks in the department, which is subjected but not limited to the following: production carts receiving inspection, inventory process, segregation process, assure the engine’s parts safety during movement, verify the instructed process in the (WO) with the manual, get the parts into the process.
• Supervise the helper performance.
• Responsible for time charging and parts disposition through ERP system.
• Visual inspection for the parts, to check the readiness before inspection. For quality Escape controlling purposes.
• Responsible for chemical receiving inspection according to MEPC policies & procedures.
• Responsible for the chemical analysis process to assure the process performance.
• Support the mechanical cleaning activities.

Education Required / Minimum Experienced Required / Special Skill / Training Courses / Certificates / Licenses Required: 

• Diploma/ Technical, vocational or University Degree in Industrial, Chemical, laboratory or   equivalent.
• Normal 20/20 vision or correctable.
• Relevant experience in the same industry is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, initiative and good judgment.
• Clear understanding of relevant technical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
• Computer skills (ERP systems, and MS programs).
• Technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in close proximity to other people with a cooperative attitude.
