Methods Agent

We are looking for a Methods Agent to add his/her expertise to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Correct assembly specifications or manufacturing lists for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components.
  • Interpret, verify, and approve drawings and documents from the engineering department.
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
  • Define required tools to ensure proper geometric tolerancing in manufacturing or assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, quality, and production to implement changes or strategies.
  • Coordinate technical problem resolution across departments for production support.
  • Propose improvements and participate in R&D for assembly and manufacturing strategies.
  • Support the Central Methods team with projects.
  • Maintain and update Methods documentation and perform SAP analysis.
  • Eliminate non-value-added activities to optimize production.
  • Establish requirements for manpower, tooling, layout, ergonomics, and equipment.
  • Contribute to process development and optimization in the Methods function.
  • Audit processes to validate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Manage short and medium-duration projects of moderate complexity.

Skills and Qualifications

  • College or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings and good 3D visualization and analytical skills.
  • Logical, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as Catia, AutoCAD, Enovia.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Team player with perseverance and sound judgment.
  • Bilingualism (French–English) is a strong asset due to multilingual work environments and documentation.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Aerospace.
