Industrial Technician in Aeronautical Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
We are looking for an Aeronautical Maintenance Industrial Engineer responsible for optimizing processes, planning, and managing operations in an aircraft parts repair and maintenance workshop. They ensure the efficiency of maintenance activities, while complying with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve workflows in the repair/maintenance workshop.
- Lead or facilitate projects to eliminate waste identified during time studies.
- Develop solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Coordinate technical teams and material resources.
- Manage spare parts inventory and optimize the supply chain.
- Analyze costs and benefits of purchasing different production equipment.
- Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems.
- Participate in the integration of new technologies and repair methods.
- Train technical staff in new procedures and equipment.
- Participate in balancing operations across workstations.
- Ensure maintenance and improvement of operations in an agile context, identifying improvement opportunities to boost performance and safety.
- Design and optimize workstation layouts, work methods, and tooling using value-added production initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Engineering degree in industrial or aeronautical engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance processes.
- Mastery of root cause and continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5 Whys, Pareto, 5M, etc.).
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Organized, rigorous, and able to work under pressure.
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or repair.
- Proactive and dynamic attitude.
- Bilingualism (French – English) required for communication in multilingual environments and technical documentation.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role in Aerospace.
