Sheet Metal Workers

We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal components used in aircraft structures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of aviation standards and regulations.
Duration: 3-6 months
Start date: Feb 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal components for aircraft structures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
- Join and assemble fabricated parts using rivets, bolts, soldering, or welding equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on aircraft components and conduct repairs as necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with general aircraft maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including metalworking machines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of aviation standards and regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
