Sustainability Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Project Manager to
support the implementation of environmental and social responsibility initiatives across the U.S.
This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about sustainability
and eager to contribute to impactful projects that promote environmental stewardship, community engagement,
and responsible governance.
As part of the U.S. Sustainability Team, you will assist in coordinating programs that reduce environmental
impact, foster community partnerships, and support a culture of sustainability across multiple sites.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to help track progress, manage resources,
and ensure alignment with broader ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Environmental Initiatives:
Assist in the coordination and tracking of environmental projects, including emissions reduction, energy efficiency,
and waste minimization efforts. Help implement sustainable practices such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
usage and support cross-functional collaboration with facilities, finance, and procurement teams. - Community Engagement & Social Impact:
Help identify opportunities for community involvement, especially in youth education and STEAM-related programs.
Support the planning and execution of partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations.
Assist in managing sponsorships, donations, and employee volunteer activities. - Promote Sustainability Culture:
Contribute to internal engagement efforts by supporting sustainability training programs, awareness campaigns,
and employee-led initiatives. Help coordinate a network of Sustainability Ambassadors and assist in organizing
events that promote a culture of environmental and social responsibility. - Governance & Reporting:
Assist in maintaining ESG data and documentation for internal reporting and compliance. Support the development
of dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate progress toward sustainability goals. Help ensure
alignment with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Social Impact, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sustainability, project coordination, or community engagement (internships and volunteer experience welcome).
- Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainability reporting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
