Supplier Performance Agent
We are looking for a Supplier Performance Agent to join a dynamic and expanding team in Montreal.
Responsibilities:
- Perform source inspection at the supplier to evaluate the quality of system components
- Lead quality review with suppliers
- Request detailed corrective actions to the supplier for repetitive issues
- Evaluate the overall quality of supplier performance
- Initiate corrective actions request for repetitive issues
- Provide visibility on the open actions & follow-up (PowerPoint presentation) to management
Qualifications:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in supplier quality and/or quality assurance
- You have experience in the Aerospace industry (preferred)
- You have strong leadership, problem-solving, flexibility and project management skills
- You have experience in supplier intervention
- You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in French and English
- You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- You are flexible, available and you can travel locally and internationally, sometimes with short notice
- ASQ certification, 6 sigma Experience in Quality Assurance
- Aerospace experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability
- High-pressure environment
- Project management skills in quality
- Root cause analysis
