Structural Technician

We are seeking a Structural Technician to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, modify, or repair any type of sheet metal structure using all types of sheet metal fabricating equipment.
  • Assist in structural modifications and repairs.
  • Structural installation, assembly and subassemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
  • Use templates and position components from engineering drawings or methods documentation.
  • Adapt work for various types of assembly: large and small components.
  • Adjust and operate manual or automated machines and tools as needed.
  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts to technical specifications provided.
  • Install fasteners; drill holes; use correct bolts, rivets, screws, and support components.
  • Apply correct sealants, bonding agents, corrosion protections, and paint.
  • Ensure assemblies conform to manufacturing files.
  • Inspect parts and components for performance, fit, and documentation compliance.
  • Meet quality standards and production rates.
  • Respect all health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Report discrepancies or irregularities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the aeronautics field.
  • MRO repair and modification experience.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Excellent drawing reading skills.
  • High dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Quick learner with strong focus.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
