Methods Change Management Agent
We are looking for a Methods Change Management Agent. Reporting to the Lead, Methods, the Methods Change Management Agent will manage and execute complex Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in our ERP System to support various aircraft programs and developmental activities.
Responsibilities
- Create and authorize complex changes within the ERP System to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Create, assign, and manage ECNs for developmental changes in design, build, and tools.
- Perform impact assessments prior to engineering change releases.
- Facilitate harmonization meetings and manage Implementation Plans and ECNs.
- Act as subject matter expert for change control processes across aircraft programs.
- Create and revise supplemental documentation to define assembly sequences.
- Develop Work Instructions under QMS standards for manufacturing processes.
- Record and manage ECNs for improvements in design, tools, or build quality.
- Assign commodity codes for new Part Numbers (Make vs Buy decisions).
- Deploy ECN-related tasks for Type Design and Build changes.
- Participate in root cause investigations and technical issue resolutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QC, Supply Chain, and STC partners to implement technical changes.
- Audit paper trails to ensure proper implementation of design changes.
- Validate Bills of Material through legacy build investigations.
- Contribute to internal/external audits and improvement initiatives.
- Support change management reporting and engage in production efficiency projects.
- Assist in technical training development for manufacturing teams under QMS.
Skills and Qualifications
- Combination of education and experience in aerospace manufacturing and/or engineering.
- Degree/diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or equivalent such as AME).
- Experience in change/project management is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft part fabrication and assembly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of aerospace engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform design change impact assessments.
Required Experience
- 3–7 years of progressive hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in aerospace.
