Licensed Structural Technician

We are seeking a Licensed Structural Technician to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, modify, or repair any type of sheet metal component or structure using all sheet metal fabricating equipment and specialized tooling.
  • Assist in development of modifications and repairs, including preparing preliminary sketches.
  • Perform structural activities on aircraft.
  • Inspect fuselages, engines, equipment, components, and parts per work packages and task cards.
  • Carry out scheduled aircraft inspections in accordance with maintenance programs.
  • Inspect repairs at all stages to ensure compliance with approved documentation and standards.
  • Ensure aircraft release meets company maintenance policy and customer specifications.
  • Document deviations and raise non-conformance reports as required.
  • Determine corrective actions for deviations and coordinate with supervisors.
  • Identify parts and raise purchase requests.
  • Collaborate with project/workshop supervisors to ensure timely work completion.
  • Supervise technicians and provide training and technical guidance.
  • Monitor maintenance quality and report disruptions to service and quality departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and task instructions by all personnel.
  • Route unusable or rejected parts to quarantine for disposal.
  • Report gaps or improvements needed in the maintenance policy manual to QA Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to certify work within inspection authority (ICA holder only).
  • License S with recognized sheet-metal structure repair training.
  • Apply latest applicable standards and use appropriate/calibrated tools.
  • Completion of all required training courses.
  • Maintain up-to-date skills and qualifications with HR.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and hazards via SMS.
  • Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
