Electronics Service Technician

We are looking for an Electronic Maintenance Technician to add his/her expertise to our team. The technician is responsible for executing the maintenance plan in place, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper operation of production equipment by keeping it in optimum condition.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve any equipment malfunctions.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Fill in breakdown reports.
  • Use CMMS software (search for parts, drawings, work routines, etc.).
  • Participate in breakdown analyses.
  • Communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
  • Contact manufacturers’ technical departments as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
  • Update work lists and electrical plans, in cooperation with the reliability specialist.
  • Update lockout sheets.
  • Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma in Electronics (Electrodynamics or Instrument Control).
  • 5 years of experience in a related role.
  • Bilingualism (French – English) in oral and written communication is an important asset for working in a multilingual technical environment.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aerospace sector.
