Electrical Assembler
We are looking for an Electrical Assembler to add his/her expertise to our team.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and modification of electrical systems and their components
- Installation and connection of electrical harnesses or other cables and their wires or terminations between main units
- Installation of electrical or electronic components on shelves or peripherals
- Assembly, adjustment, and installation of prefabricated parts to produce aircraft interiors
- Assembly, adjustment, and installation of sub-assemblies, coverings, and upholstered parts, as well as metal brackets and hardware
- Installation of production electrical harnesses and/or avionics systems and ensuring compliance
- Wiring and cabling on panels
- Other duties as required, based on experience and qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
- DEP in cable and circuit assembly or DEC/AEC in avionics technology, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an aircraft electrical assembler
- Must pass an evaluation demonstrating basic technical skills (manual skills test)
- 3 years’ experience as a harness assembler in production (an asset)
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and technical precision
- Analytical ability to detect defects or issues quickly
- Teamwork capability across multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to technological changes
- Bilingualism (French – English) is a major asset for technical and multilingual environments
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aerospace sector
