Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
The technician will inspect, fabricate, assemble, install and repair structures, ensure compliance with standards and procedures, document deviations, coordinate corrective action and collaborate with teams to guarantee quality and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled structural tasks.
- Inspect, fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal structures and components.
- Document deviations and raise non-conformance reports per company/customer policies.
- Determine corrective actions to rectify deviations.
- Perform a wide range of aircraft structure-related activities.
- Conduct modification activities.
- Document maintenance actions in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Complete forms and documents per required standards.
- Estimate time required to complete non-conformance reports and coordinate with supervisors.
- Identify parts requirements and make purchase requisitions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in aircraft maintenance, avionics, or structure recognized by Transport Canada.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on aircraft.
- Strong judgment, initiative, and technical skills.
- Completion of relevant training courses.
- Maintain up-to-date communication with HR on certifications and skills.
- Report incidents, accidents, and hazards via SMS.
- Adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field (asset).
- Bilingual (French-English) preferred due to multilingual work environments and documentation.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aerospace sector.
