MRB Engineers
Salary based on experience. All applicants must hold a Green card or be a US citizen.
- Past or present Boeing MRB Signing Authority
- Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing 737 or 787
- Full and Part Time Day shifts
- Full and Part Time Night shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Carry out design analysis and create design dispositions for assembly manufacturing non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form, and function
- Process detail and sub assembly concessions from risk sharing partners and Final Assembly Lines
- Identify the most efficient methods for analysis whilst ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements
- Liaise with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure the most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance, and installation requirements
- Customer facing
- Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others
- Experience working on Boeing products and structures either directly or within the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a level of delegated technical approval
- Knowledge across Boeing aircraft platforms, particularly 737/787 or similar aircraft variant programs, preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities
- Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification
- Previous Design Organisation Approval (DOA) would be advantageous
- Completed Concessions processing courses
- TIPQA an advantage
- SAP NCMS knowledge essential
