Tasks:
As a member of the Engineering Department – Calibration & Mechatronics, and reporting to the Mechatronics Software Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for the development and integration of Android-based infotainment systems (AOSP) (vehicle services, voice and media services, mobile services, navigation services, etc.). You’ll be involved from requirement intake and understanding to final product release.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded software development for production automotive infotainment systems, practical experience with AOSP/Android Architecture/Android Stack/Android Framework/Android HAL Layer, and possess an interest in learning about and contributing to cutting-edge and emerging automotive computing technologies.
Requirements:
- Autonomy and leadership: Good autonomy to propose design solutions
- Attendance: 3 days a week required
- Experience: 2-5 years
- Background: Understanding and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical principles is an asset
- Languages of communication: Both written and spoken (French/English)
- Programming languages and software required:
- Knowledge of the Android and/or Android automotive operating system
- Knowledge of the Android graphics stack
- Experience with IVI platforms
- Knowledge of Figma, Java, Kotlin
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract end date: 2025-06-20
