Mechatronic Engineer: Software Development

Tasks:

  • Understand and document existing software development processes.
  • Identify required improvements based on industry best practices such as ASPICE, ISO 15504 and/or ISO 12207.
  • Identify and understand the tools required to support capability as well as participate in their deployment and integration.
  • Assess needs, prepare and execute the training and integration strategy for development teams.
  • Conduct process reviews to ensure compliance and make adjustments if necessary.
  • Collaborate with other process architects to harmonise and integrate methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Autonomy and leadership: Good autonomy to propose solutions.
  • Attendance: 2 days mandatory
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, software, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years as an embedded software developer for motor vehicles
  • In-depth knowledge of ASPICE compliance standard and/or quality management system (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Comfortable in an environment where solutions are not known and the path is not mapped out
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders, demonstrate autonomy, initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in both French and English (English is a requirement for this position)
  • Knowledge of vehicle design processes, requirements management, and ALM software
  • Languages of communication: French and English
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract end date: 2025-01-31
